Holly turns 7 tomorrow. I've been thinking of her as 7 for months. But if you ask me how old she is - I say 6. Seven just seems so... old.The kids are going to Mississippi with Oliver for Thanksgiving. So we drove to Georgia today to meet him. And yesterday after school we started our 24 hours of Holly's Choice.
For dinner last night she chose lamb, lima beans, and rice. For her cake - lemon with lemon frosting. This morning we had cake for breakfast. She wanted Cracker Barrel at lunch. I guess she missed out on picking an activity to do because her soccer team had the parent-kids game last night.
She was pleased anyway.
Holly at 7. She's spunky. A little sassy. She's a firecracker. And you never know when she'll blow sometimes. She's organized. A little particular. Okay - a lot. She's competitive. And she gets grumpy when she's hungry just like her mama. For any spitefulness she has, she has as much sweetness. And she can have a determined streak in her. If she really wants to do something, there's no stopping her. I'm looking forward to seeing how she grows from here!
