I made another dress for Holly and this one for Julia. I still can't remember the type of fabric it is... but it's very soft and flowy and "swishy" (as Julia said). If Alan hadn't climbed on the sewing table and wrinkled up the wax paper pattern for Julia's I might be inclined to make her another just like it.
It's kind of nice to see Julia enjoying a nice swishy skirt after her recent interest in pants and short skirts and shorts and wearing all combinations of those 3.
On another note, the packers are here for my neighbors today. It makes me sad. It's been kind of a sad week as weeks go. However, I also have been reminded that in the big scheme of things, a broken teacup and spilled ketchup are truly and extremely insignificant events.
