Last night the girls had a piano recital. It was in the new theater of a local high school. It was a nice place - lots of seats for Alan to choose from and he wanted to sit in every one of them. Flash photography was not allowed during the performances, and by the time it was over and we could have taken pictures at the piano, everyone was ready for bed. So here's the before:
They played beautifully.
Holly especially needed to get to bed last night because this morning she was in a spelling bee across town. Oliver took her. I hear she made it to the fifth round. And was mad when she was out. I think she enjoyed it. She smiled when I asked her if it was fun. And said 'no'. I think it was fun until she was out.
Now it's back to a lazy Saturday.

Such talented kids!!!
I've been away from the blog for a few days and just found out about the cat last night when I talked to Ollie. I wish Trudy would act like Cactus! She hides too much for my taste. Cactus IS very cute!
Maybe Lucky can get in one of Those pictures when you're not looking. xoxo
