more crafting...

I had intentions this morning of making some Easter baskets out of fabric... thinking they could become book totes or something eventually. But when I got out my fabric, I couldn't make myself do anything with this other than copy a favorite tote of mine that came from World Market. I cut the straps too skinny - and my leftover piece wasn't long enough to recut them without piecing, so I made them work. Otherwise, I think it's a good copy and possibly a nice canvas for a freezer stencil in the future.
