Papers

Every so often I go through the den and try a different way of organizing the girls' papers. They play a lot of school (usually Julia gets to be the teacher) and draw a lot of pictures and write a lot of stories. Sometimes they make their stories in to books and ask me to sew a binding, or they staple them. Sometimes the books are very long and sometimes very short. And I find them everywhere.

Here is a sample:

The Curse of the Flying Pumpkins, by Holly

Once upon a time
there was a Girl
She was sleeping
She had a Bad
dream wich is
called a nightmear -
I am going
to tell you
what happend
There were
PumPkins Biteing
her feet. ow.
she said - stop.
they Pulled her By her
feet to a castle
you Better stop.

ChaPter two

A Bad Gey shooted
her with a Gun
ow! ow! She said

cool castle

chapter three

she got Put in
Prison for doing
nothing the
PumPkins should
Be in Prison she
shouted. No you
should. But I
did'ent do anything
rong yes you did
She was crying.
a ant came along
go Away she said
No! said the ant. No!
No! No! the Girl cryed
as hard as posible.! everybody
in the world Princess!
they were put in prison
In another castle
all the People all cryed
chapter four
I can't imagine what's going to happen next. And I'm not sure where the bad guy with the gun fits in the story or in her head. I bet the ant saves the day.
