Holly's First Tooth

Holly lost her first tooth last week. She and Julia were playing in their room at bedtime - hitting each other with clothes. Luckily, they were both enjoying the game. But then Julia struck Holly with a skirt and Holly's loose tooth flew across the room. They wrote a long note to the tooth fairy explaining why there was no tooth and asking for money - but then I found it. Julia told Holly that the bigger the container she left under the pillow, the more money she'd get. She got a dollar coin. I think she was happy about it - only maybe with a little longing for more. I do know she'd been waiting for her first tooth to come out for a long long time.
