For the last few months I have had pain when I try to lean forward to brush my teeth. When I bend over to put on my pants. Or socks. Or shoes. I've worn slip on shoes just to avoid bending over at all.
This afternoon I thought I might actually be able to touch my toes.
I was wrong. But I bent over a lot more than I have in a really long time.
I went to physical therapy again this morning. He put a hot pad on my back for a few minutes and then did ultrasound on my tailbone area. Then we went through the stretches I do at home. And he pushed on my hips/pelvic bones some.
I was sore when I got home.
Sean and I went to get Alan from school and went to Lowes. While browsing the store I swear my tailbone felt weird. Like it was really cold. Or burning. But something felt different. Funny. Odd. And this evening I felt better than I have in a long time. So I tried to touch my toes. I couldn't, but I can brush my teeth without flinching as I spit.
I'm not pain free. My leg still tingles when I sit. But that physical therapy stuff is amazing me.
