Sometime last week we bought a crib. Baby gets to share a room with Alan... who has offered to change diapers in the middle of the night. Love that boy.
Organizing stuff has been an ongoing challenge for me since Julia was born. I seem to go back and forth between using the space under beds for storage and wanting the space under the beds to be open. We've now reached a time when the space under the beds must again be used for storage. I thought maybe a couple of drawers under the crib could take the place of another dresser in the room, but it didn't look right. So I painted Holly's old dresser white. Then I realized that the crib isn't a true white - so I'm waiting to see how much it bothers me before I paint the dresser with one more coat of not so white paint.
I've been organizing other parts of the house, too... wanted to kind of fix up the girls' room while they were gone. I'm down to the last week and haven't made a lot of progress. I did come across the girls' preschool pictures and decided to put them in frames...
That may be my all time favorite picture of Holly.

It is amazing how fast they have grown up! Oh Alan, what a little daddy already offering to change diapers :-) Love it!
Love all that you've done!! Both rooms look awesome. Won't Alan be the best company ever for his little sister. I'm thinking that maybe he's right and he SHOULD skip kindergarten after all - sounds like he'd be great help! ;) Know you're glad to have everyone home.
