I tried embroidering on onesies - no stabilizer or anything - using 2 strands of DMC floss. I made an alligator one for Alan, stamping the alligator with craft ink and then embroidering the outline - the ink has mostly washed out after 1 wash without being heat set. So I used my frog stamp, the snail, and an elephant which I may try to heat set and then wash to see if the color will stay. I am going to try some other designs on tea towels and pillowcases... I tried embroidery about 6 years ago and never finished my first project. I started too big. These little images take about 30 minutes or so to do.
