Hooray! Blue Sock Is Done!

I finished the blue sock. It's the Starter Stockinette sock from Knit Socks! by Betsy Lee McCarthy. I made the foot part 6.5" or 6.75" (I didn't bother to measure really accurately) since the pattern said that decreasing the toe and closing would add about 1.75". The pattern also said to make the foot part 8.5" or whatever length fit your foot. The bottom of the ribbing is about an inch above the top of my ankle bone. I used Australian Merinos yarn and size 3 needles. It's surprisingly warm and very comfortable. I think I may have to knit another and wear them together afterall!



It is also rather difficult to take a picture of your own foot, I find.
