Talent

The whole show was great. Julia was nervous, but excited and ready for it.
Holly was asked to hand out programs at the door.
Julia was 6th of 12 acts. She'd planned dance moves, but I think her nerves kept her from dancing. The show started with a skit by two boys. Eight of the 12 acts were singing - of those, 3 were Christian songs, 2 were The Climb, 2 were Party in the USA(both Hannah Montana songs), and 1 was Michael Jackson's Beat It. One girl did a jazz routine, one boy played the drums, and two girls did a step dance. The boy who went before Julia sang Beat It. The girl who followed her sang a spiritual a cappella. The whole show was really good. Entertaining. The only boring part was the PTA meeting before the show started.

Julia practiced outside a few weeks ago and left her cd out there. So the cd messed up a little. But she didn't. She just went with it. With a smile.
I was thrilled for her. She even got compliments from some other family members as we left. I sometimes wish I had her courage.

I'm pretty sure Julia got her courage from you!!! Sometimes what we can't do happily as kids we give to our kids and you did it beautifully!
