I cut the bodice width in half and didn't gather it. And I made the ties part of the bodice band. This one fits me better than the one I did earlier today. My lucky neighbor came over and I got her try on the other one. It fit her nicely. Now she has a nice new apron and I have less stuff in the house and less fabric in my stash. How great is that.

Apron 2
Well, it's not exactly what I planned.
I cut the bodice width in half and didn't gather it. And I made the ties part of the bodice band. This one fits me better than the one I did earlier today. My lucky neighbor came over and I got her try on the other one. It fit her nicely. Now she has a nice new apron and I have less stuff in the house and less fabric in my stash. How great is that.

I do usually forget to put them on. Until the first time I go to wipe my hands on my shirt.
I'm starting to think I don't want to make the Emmeline anymore - it seems like a lot of work. Gwyneth and I started a simple gathered half-apron about a month ago and I can't even seem to get that finished!
So cute!! If you start selling them, let me know!
