Last night I overheard Julia and Alan talking. She was explaining Easter to him. "Alan, tomorrow night a Big Bunny dressed in clothes is going to come to our house and leave candy and presents!" I hope she's not too disappointed if he doesn't leave presents. I've only known him to leave candy and a few trinkets.
She then followed it with an explanation of Jesus' death on the cross and the resurrection - because she was telling him we're going to have Resurrection Buns for breakfast. (Refrigerator biscuits wrapped around a marshmallow before baking - the marshmallow disappears and leaves a 'cave'.)
This morning I overheard her talking to Holly. "Holly, do you know what my favorite thing is? In this house? Do you know who my favorite person in this house right now is? Because Jesus is my favorite in the world, but do you know who my favorite in this house is? YOU!"
I love it.
