Saturday morning Alan and I got out the cameras to take a few pictures.
Because this bird was sitting on the cars really close to us. And then moved to the bushes and water spigot in the front yard.
All that was while the girls were getting ready for their Art Sale. They put a sign out by the mailbox to advertise that they would be holding a sale from 2 to 3:30. Paintings were priced at 75 cents each. They were disappointed in the lack of a crowd at 2 o'clock. They couldn't understand why no one was there. But they did end up making a little money. Once they gave up, they even had a couple of customers ring the doorbell to make a purchase. I thought it was a pretty good idea - and was very glad that they weren't asking to sell lemonade.
