applying myself

I have picked up an application to teach at the local technical college. I've had it for a couple of weeks and I'm pretty much finished with filling it out. I need to attach another sheet with one more past job description on it and I need to fill out the job description for my current job. I also need to check a few zip codes or check a few boxes. But I'm pretty much finished.

Only I'm having trouble saying I'm done. I debate back and forth with redoing the whole thing as an online application. I even started to do one online. But then I decide maybe it's not too much trouble to just finish the paper one and mail it in with my transcript they want to see.

I'm not sure what's holding me back. I think I might be afraid of rejection.

I'm a little surprised I was able to say it out loud. But now that I've announced I have the application maybe I'll feel a little more pressure - although I'm not sure I need more - to turn it in.

I just hope it all goes well. And as I tell myself all the time - I'm sure it will all work out in the end.
