Paper Mache

We started making some paper mache decorations the other day. The plan is to cover balloons with newspaper strips and paper mache and use styrofoam for bugging eyes and other features. Hopefully we'll end up with some neat Halloween type decorations. It took awhile to get all the stuff together and set up and Alan got impatient. "How long do I have to SIT here and hold my BALL?" he asked.

But we did evenutally get started and he had fun. He wanted to wash his hands more often than I expected... Julia on the other hand really liked being messy. And Holly wasn't thrilled with the mess, but managed to probably get the messiest of the 3.



It's been a few days now and we're still waiting to do the next coat. The first one took awhile to dry.
