Craftiness

I have been hit with an urge to make lots of things. I am currently knitting - a baby washrag with an animal head knit onto a corner like one of those soft blankies, a pair of socks for Alan, a scarf for Alan, and a plain black wool tobaggon hat. Alan was asking about every row if I was almost done with his scarf, so I dug out my fabric stash and cut him a quick scarf from sweatshirt material. That made his knit scarf drop in priority on my knit list. I can't decide how long to make the top part of his socks, so I don't pick them up very often. The washrag and hat seem to be about even in their call to me to knit them.

But then every morning when I dry my hair I think I should make some head towels. Those kind that twist on your head like a turban that's held nicely with an elastic loop.

And lately all 3 kids have been playing dolls and changing their clothes. So I think I should get out the stash again and see if I can make some pants or shirts or dresses for little rag dolls... I'm leaving the American girl clothes to someone else for now. I'm also considering little knit sweaters for them all...

I'm not to the jumping in stage yet for any new projects. I'm just at the list making stage. And I put off the craftiness by trying to decide what paper to write on and whether I should make it in pencil or pen.

How sad. There's no end to my procrastination tactics.
