Jelly Beans and Easter

I love jelly beans.

I also know myself well enough to know I should not buy jelly beans.

But yesterday I had a craving.

Who would think that it would be so hard to find regular jelly beans at Target near Easter. I passed up 'spiced' Brach's up front to see what I could find in the Easter candy section. Starburst has some really tasty ones. But I couldn't find them. The only bag I found found was Sweet Tart brand. I figured they would be flavorful... and I was having a craving... so I bought them.

They're okay.

But after a few handfuls my stomach felt icky. And I'm willing to share them with the kids. And I'm leaving them in the jar on the counter.

Today while buying milk and bread before lunch I bought some regular Brach's jelly beans at the grocery. After lunch I'm having to hide them. Out of sight is only partly out of mind. So I'm going to have to go outside and try to forget about them. And the cheeseburger flavored Doritos I bought on sale, too. Apparently when I want junk food I want junk food.

I puffy heart jelly beans! I love chewing off the crunchy outer and savoring the chewy center. Was that too much information?
