The last day of school the kids and I went over to my mom's new house and played in the sprinklers and at her new neighborhood pool with her new neighbors and their girls. Turns out the neighbor and I have a lot in common and I'm kind of hopeful we'll get to do it again. I probably should have spent the afternoon packing suitcases for their trip to Oliver. But I didn't. And it all worked out okay anyway. It's part of my plan to enjoy every moment and relax. I think I'm pretty laid back. I'm working on unflappable. I think that would serve me well as my children age. I aim to be unflappable.
