I traced the bull onto the paper side of the freezer paper and cut him out with regular kid scissors. I've seen some very intricate designs online but I wanted to use a simple image for my first - and I knew I'd be cutting it out with kid scissors. Then I ironed the paper onto my shirt, with another piece of freezer paper inside to keep the paint from seeping through to the back. I held the iron (set on cotton, no steam) on the paper for what I thought was a long time - and tried to make sure the edges were well sealed.

Freezer Paper Stencil
I've been wanting to try freezer paper stencils on a shirt for awhile. I bought the supplies a long time ago, but just recently did it. I found the bull image at spraypaintstencils.com

Then I painted with fabric paint and a paintbrush. As I painted I thought the edges of the stencil were coming unstuck to the fabric, but when I pulled up the paper the image was clear.
